  • ⚽Girls & Boys Soccer Game @ Canoe Creek K8 6:00pm. Girls play first, boys follow.
 

Tuesday

  • 🏀Boys Basketball (Grades 7 & 8) & Girls Basketball Intramurals (All Grades) – 7:45 AM
 

Wednesday

  • 🏐Girls Volleyball Intramurals – 7:45 AM
  • ⚽Girls & Boys Soccer Games @ Parkway. 5:30pm-9:00pm. Girls play first, boys follow.
  • Early Release @ 3:25
📚 Author Visit: Lindsay Currie in the SCMS Media Center 9:45-11:00.
How Students Can Attend: If your student would like to attend our visit with Lindsay Currie, please have them come to the Media Center to sign up and get a permission slip. As soon as the permission slip is returned to Ms. Ford in the Media Center, they will get a pass to come to the Author Visit on Wednesday, Sept 24th. Students must have this pass to attend. We hope to fill the Media Center with students!

Optional: If your student would like to get a book signed by Lindsay Currie, she has partnered with local bookstore White Rose Books & More (see attached flyer or link below). She is also selling copies of her newest book, The House With No Keys, EARLY but just for SCMS students that order through White Rose. White Rose is also giving 15% of sales back to SCMS to purchase more books for our Media Center!  Purchase Lindsey Currie Books

Student Conduct Reminder

This is a friendly reminder that students CANNOT bring food or candy to hand out or share with other students.

We have also seen an uptick in students sharing water bottles. Please remind students to not share water bottles or drinks with other students.

Ms. Kortuem had students do partner work activities on Tuesday prior to a 3-part differentiation lesson on RACE Day Wednesday for the distributive property remediation.

Fun in History Classes

Mr. Gahris shared a "juicy, drama filled" letter he found in his classroom as an engaging hook for students in his class on the American Colonies separation with King George before beginning a collaborative activity.
