The last dance of the year, the PBIS Spring Dance, will be happening this Friday 03/06. Tickets went on sale 02/27 and will run until tickets are sold out. Tickets can be purchased on MySchoolBucks.

Starting this week and going into next week, students will be taking their STAR Reading and STAR Math tests. STAR Reading will happen in Reading/Research classes and STAR Math will be happening in student's Math classes.

This is the last opportunity for us to collect data before our end of year testing in May. Please encourage your student to take their time and do their best on these exams, so that their data will reflect their current growth!

This data will be used for updates in placement for schedule changes to make sure students are where they need to be to succeed.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Science Department in purchasing temporary tattoos! Students and Teachers loved the activity, and we couldn't do what we do without the support of our community!

We had a great February here at SCMS celebrating Black History Month!

Throughout the month of February, a daily kindness challenge was announced during morning announcements. Teachers and staff had the opportunity to observe and submit names of students displaying acts of kindness. Each Friday, one student’s name was drawn and announced, and that student received a prize.

We want to thank Outback Steakhouse in St. Cloud and Sterling Chevrolet in St. Cloud for providing a delicious luncheon to our teachers and staff and supporting our Black History Activities throughout the month.

We also want to thank our very own SCMS Jazz Band who performed during all three lunches for students and staff. They shared the beauty of jazz music and did an outstanding job!

Aleah Patterson represented SCMS in the Middle School Majorette Competition at the Palm Beach Twirling Classic where she won 1st place! In addition, she also won Twirling Queen! We are proud of Aleah's hard work and her dedication to her sport and our school!
