The banquet is the end of year dance for 8th graders that are eligible for promotion to 9th grade (as of May 8th), have no referrals for the 4th Quarter, and no overdue library books. The banquet is a semi-formal dance. The cost of the ticket includes food and a photo. Payment for banquet should have already been made on MySchoolBucks by May 8th.

Banquet is at the St. Cloud Civics Center. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early, doors will not be open until 6:00pm and dismissal will be at 9:00pm. If you need your student early, come to the door and an adult will get them for you. No early dismissal after 8:30pm as the parking lot will be too congested.

Reminder: This is an 8th grade semi-formal dance, not prom. Students must be dropped off and picked up by an adult. No limos, please.

Students must be present on Friday May 15th, or they cannot attend on the 16th.

Dress Code Reminders:

• Dress pants and a dress shirt; tie and/or suit; or dress.
• Dress shoes or sneakers. Dress shoes can be open-toed and open-heeled
  • Choose your shoes wisely because they must remain on all night.
• Hemline of dresses must be at least one inch below fingertips including any slit.
• Dress must have at least one cloth strap
• Back of dress may not be low cut and cloth, not mesh, must cover the entire front of body to one inch below fingertips.
• No low-cut dresses or shirts
• Sweaters, jackets, or cover ups are allowed; however, clothing underneath must follow all dress code guidelines.
